Diese Arbeit beschäftigt sich mit der neurologischen Grundlage von Mimesis und Empathie: den Spiegelneuronen. Die beiden Begriffe werden diskutiert und schließlich mit den Texten von Friedrich Nietzsche und Walter Benjamin in Zusammhang gebracht. Die Arbeit der beiden Philosophen bildet einen Überbau für Naturwissenschaft und Mimesistheorie.

This thesis deals with the basis of mimesis and empathy: the human mirror neuron system. Both terms, mimesis and empathy, are discussed and are linked to the texts of Friedrich Nietzsche and Walter Benjamin. The works of these philosophers provides the framework for the combination of science and mimesis theory.
