Mobile Erfassung von Instandhaltungsmeldungen in komplexen Organisationen im Zusammenhang mit SAP als ERP System

Abstract

Zu Beginn dieser Diplomarbeit werden einige didaktische Konzepte kurz umrissen, um zu vermitteln, wie die im weiteren Verlauf der Arbeit vorgestellten komplexen Prozesse und Technologien bestmöglich gelehrt werden können. Ein weiteres zentrales Ziel der Arbeit ist die Verbesserung von Instandhaltungsprozessen dahingehend, dass mit Hilfe der IT unter Verwendung von mobilen Endgeräten, sowie einem ERP System und modernen Kommunikationstechnologien, die Instandhaltungsabwicklung in komplexen Organisationen verbessert werden kann. Einige Vorteile der mobilen Instandhaltung sind beispielsweise die Eliminierung bzw.<br />Minimierung papierbasierter Prozesse, bessere Datenqualität, die Vermeidung von Datenverlusten, sowie die zeitnahe Datenrückmeldung und Datenweiterverarbeitung. All diese Vorteile bewirken sowohl Zeit- und Kosteneinsparungen, als auch eine generelle Produktivitätssteigerung des gesamten Unternehmens. Durch den Einsatz der mobilen Erfassung von Instandhaltungsmeldungen, müssen nach der Wartung bzw. Inspektion die Daten eines Objektes nicht noch einmal manuell im ERP System erfasst werden. Einfach ausgedrückt entfällt das wiederholte Abschreiben von Papieraufzeichnungen. Die Vorteile der mobilen Instandhaltung erzielen außerdem Arbeitserleichterungen, sowie die elektronische Erfassung der instand zu haltenden Objekte, wodurch entsprechende Auswertungen (z.B.<br />für das Management oder Controlling) automatisch erstellt werden können.<br />Die Instandhaltungsprozesse werden außerdem EDV-technisch und somit eindeutig nachvollziehbar abgebildet. Diese Arbeit enthält einen theoretischen und einen praktischen Teil. Im Theorieteil wird die Thematik der Instandhaltung basierend auf aktueller Literatur erläutert.<br />Es wird außerdem der im praktischen Teil der Arbeit implementierte Prozess zur mobilen Erfassung von SAP Instandhaltungsmeldungen detailliert beschrieben. Im praktischen Teil wird der im theoretischen Teil abgebildete Prozess realisiert. Dazu muss analysiert werden, welche Vorbereitungen bzw. Vorbedingungen zur Umsetzung des Prozesses gegeben sein müssen. Das bedeutet z.B. das Vorhanden sein von entsprechenden EDV-Systemen (Java, SAP), sowie einem entsprechenden mobilen Endgerät.<br />Für den realisierten Prozess müssen im SAP System und auch auf der Java Webanwendung entsprechende Schnittstellten realisiert werden. Einige Vorteile der selbstentwickelten Lösung zur mobilen Erfassung von SAP Instandhaltungsmeldungen sind zum Beispiel die Lauffähigkeit der Applikation auf allen mobilen Geräten mit Internetzugang, die einfache und flexible Erweiterbarkeit, sowie eine verbesserte Eingabehilfe durch entsprechende Vorbelegungen und Vorschlagswerte. Abgerundet wird die Arbeit mit einem Zukunftsausblick zur Lösung der Eingabeproblematik auf mobilen Geräten mittels Data Matrix Barcodes und der RFID Technologie.<br />

At the beginning of this thesis some educational concepts are briefly outlined to show how to teach the complex processes and technologies presented in this thesis as efficient as possible. Another central goal of this thesis is the improvement of maintenance processes with mobile devices and modern IT systems. Therefore an own mobile solution to create SAP maintenance notifications directly from mobile devices has been developed in this thesis. Some advantages of mobile maintenance solutions are for example the elimination and minimization of paper-based processes, better data quality, the prevention of data loss, as well as immediately available data for real time processing.<br />All these advantages result in time and cost savings, as well as a general productivity increase for the entire company. Through the use of a mobile SAP maintenance notification process, the technicians of the maintenance and inspection department will be able to avoid adding data of technical objects manually to the SAP system. The benefits of mobile maintenance also make work easier. The digital recording of technical objects enables automatically generated reports for management and controlling departments. This thesis includes a theoretical and a practical part. The theoretical part explains the issue of maintenance based on current literature. Further more the practical part of the mobile SAP notification process is described in detail. During the practical part an example process to create SAP maintenance notifications on mobile devices is being realized. Therefore a detailed analysis of all required pre-conditions to develop such a mobile process has been done in this thesis. One of the most important points is the availability of the corresponding IT systems (Java, SAP), as well as the availability of corresponding mobile devices. To realize such a process to create SAP notifications form a mobile device, interfaces between SAP and Java must be implemented. Some advantages of this self-developed solution to create SAP maintenance notifications over mobile devices are for example the ability to run the application on all mobile devices with internet access, the simple and flexible expandability, as well as improved accessibility through appropriate default settings and default values. At the last chapter of this thesis, a short outlook for solving the data input problem on mobile devices, especially with data matrix barcodes and the RFID technology, will be explained.
