In dieser Masterarbeit soll aufgezeigt werden, ob es notwendig ist, dass ein eigenständiges Unterrichtsfach zur Vermittlung einer „wirtschaftlichen Bildung“ in der Schule eingeführt werden sollte oder ob es reicht, wenn diese Lehrinhalte in Form von Unterrichtsprinzipien in den Unterricht eingebaut werden. Um diese Frage beantworten zu können, wird zuerst geklärt, was unter „wirtschaftlicher Bildung“ in dieser Masterarbeit gemeint ist und welche Inhalte diese umfassen. Zudem wird der Begriff „ökonomische Bildung“ näher erläutert und dargelegt, inwiefern die „ökonomische Bildung“ ein Teil der Politischen Bildung ist. Es wird unter anderem der Sachverhalt geklärt, wie die „ökonomische Bildung“ aussehen müsste, um ein Teil der „emanzipatorischen Bildung“ werden zu können. Des Weiteren wird ein historischer Hintergrund aufgezeigt, inwieweit es schon Versuche beziehungsweise „Projekte“ gab, um eine „wirtschaftliche Bildung“ als selbstständiges Unterrichtsfach in der Schule zu integrieren. Danach folgen Argumente, welche für oder gegen die Einführung einer „wirtschaftlichen Bildung“ in der Schule sprechen. Für diesen Zweck werden aktuelle Bestrebungen untersucht.
Abstract
This masters thesis should show if either it is necessary to create a new independent school subject that would teach the pupils about economics, or if it is enough to include economics in other subjects lesson plans. Therefore, this masters thesis will first define and explain “economical education”, and secondly, it will also focus on the contents of “economical education”. Moreover, the term “economical education” itself will be explained, and the question if “economical education” is part of political education will be answered. Next, it will be shown, how “economical education” must be to become a part of “emancipatory education”. This paper will also discuss the history of “economical education”. In addition to that, this paper questions past experiments and project that focused on integrating “economical education” in school. Subsequently, the reasons for introducing “economical education” in schools will be debated. For a thorough general education the integration of “economical education” in schools as a subject would be necessary. This masters thesis will focus on the possible aims and outcomes that the integration of “economical education” as an independent subject in schools might have. Consequently, this dissertation will review different articles and papers on this subject and draw its conclusion from there. After this, this masters thesis will discuss the different shortfalls of the introduction of “economical education” and how they could be improved. Therefore, this paper will analyze and evaluate the possible subject contents and didactic methods for teaching “economical education” as a subject. In the conclusion, the question, which form of “economical education” would be important for the political education, will be answered.
