Die Diplomarbeit unter dem Thema Orientalismen im Roman PROLOM von Branko ?opi? besteht aus sechs Teilen: 1. Einleitung 2. Lexikalische Merkmale 3. Phonetische und phonologische Merkmale 4. Morphologische Merkmale 5. Orientalismen im Roman PROLOM von Branko ?opi? 6. Zusammenfassung In der Einleitung wird dem Leser einen kompakter Eindruck vermittelt, was ihn in der Arbeit erwartet. Hier werden die Ziele bestimmt und die wichtigsten Leitfragen werden formuliert. Außerdem wird in der Einleitung über die Herkunft der Lehnwörter referiert, wie sie sich in die BKS Sprachen eingenistet haben und noch heute anwesend sind,. Im zweiten Teil wird erläutert, wie die orientalische Lexik übernommen wurde. Des Weiteren wird berichtet über die Häufigkeit der Orientalismen im BKS; über die Gliederung, über die Frequenz sowie über den Stellenwert der Orientalismen in den Wörterbüchern. Im dritten Kapitel mit dem Titel Phonetische und phonologische Merkmale ist die Rede von einem Ersetzungsprozess bzw. einer Transphonemisation, bei dem die fremden Laute dem heimischen Lautsystem angepasst wurden. Außerdem wird über die primäre und sekundäre Anpassung der Vokale, Konsonanten, Affrikate und der Laute f, h und j referiert. Im vierten Abschnitt wird das Thema Transmorphemisation der Orientalismen bearbeitet, sowie die primäre und sekundäre Adaption der Substantive, Verben, Adjektive und anderer Wortarten. Außerdem wird die Wichtigkeit der Suffixe orientalischen Ursprungs hervorgehoben. Der Titel des fünften Kapitels ist Orientalismen im Roman PROLOM von Branko ?opi?. In diesem Kapitel wurde der Schwerpunkt auf die Sprachanalyse gelegt und ist der zentrale Punkt der ganzen Diplomarbeit. Hier sind alle Werte, Eigenschaften und die Besonderheiten der Orientalismen aufgeführt, unterlegt mit Beispielen. Im letzten Teil werden noch einmal die Leitfragen aufgegriffen. Außerdem bietet die Zusammenfassung einen abschießenden Überblick über die Diplomarbeit.

The thesis entitled: Orientalism in the novel PROLOM by Branko ?opi? consists of six parts: 1 Introduction 2 Lexical features 3 Phonetic and phonological features 4 Morphological features 5 Orientalisms in the novel PROLOM by Branko ?opi? 6 Summary In the Introduction, the reader will gain a compact impression of what awaits him in this work. Not only are the objectives determined, but also the most important key questions are set up. Furthermore, the origin of loanwords and the way how they have settled in our language until today, have been explained. In the second part, Lexical features, we talk about borrowing of the oriental lexicon and the representation of orientalisms in our language, along with their classification, frequency and the importance of orientalism in the dictionaries. Phonetic and phonological features is the third chapter in which we discuss transphonemisation, a replacement process where the strange sounds have been adapted to the local sound system. Moreover, we talk about the primary and secondary adaptation of vowels, consonants, affricates and the sounds f, h and j. In the next chapter, we talk about the transmorphemisation of the words of Oriental origin, and about the reflection of the primary and secondary adaptation of nouns, verbs, adjectives, and other parts of speech. In addition, the importance of the suffixes of Oriental origin is highlighted. The title of the fifth chapter is Orientalisms in the novel PROLOM by Branko ?opi?. In this chapter, which is the central point of the thesis, the focus was on the linguistic analysis of the language. Here all the values, qualities and characteristics of orientalism are given by examples. The sixth and last chapter is the summary of the key questions to be addressed again, and it provides an overview of the thesis.
