In der vorliegenden Arbeit wird die Bedeutung sowie der Umgang mit Emotionen im sozialpädagogischen Setting untersucht. Der Fokus dieser Arbeit liegt im Bereich der Fremdunterbringung, da Fachkräfte durch den intensiven Kontakt zu ihren KlientInnen eine besonders starke emotionale Bindung aufbauen und sich demnach im besonderen Maße mit positiven und negativen Emotionen konfrontiert sehen. Darüber hinaus wird sich der sozialpädagogischen Professionalität und den damit einhergehenden Merkmale gewidmet. Ziel dieser Arbeit ist es, ein Bewusstsein für die Relevanz von Emotionen im Tätigkeitsfeld der Sozialpädagogik zu schaffen und deren Omnipräsenz im Zusammenhang mit dem sozialpädagogischen Handeln sowie Denken zu verdeutlichen. Anhand von narrativen Interviews wurde erhoben, welchen Stellenwert Emotionen für Fachkräfte einnehmen und welche Kompetenzen benötigt werden, um professionell zu agieren. Die Ergebnisse zeigen, dass ExpertInnen diversen eigenen und fremden Emotionen ausgesetzt sind. Neben einer Vielzahl von Qualifikationen, wird insbesondere der professionelle Umgang mit Emotionen in Form von Reflexion ersichtlich. Der Arbeit liegt die Tatsache zugrunde, dass eine Wechselwirkung zwischen Professionalität und Emotionen besteht. |

This master thesis investigates the importance and the handling of emotions in the social educational setting. The focus of the thesis is on the sector of foster care, as experts in this field due to the close and intense contact with their clients establish a particularly strong emotional relationship with them. This is why experts see themselves confronted with positive and negative emotions. Additionally, the thesis focuses on the social educational professionalism and its associated characteristics. The intention of this paper is to raise awareness of the relevance of emotions in the field of social education and to clarify their omnipresence in the field of social educational acting and thinking. For this purpose, narrative interviews were used to determine the significance of emotions according to experts and to find out which competences are required to act in a professional way. The results show that professionals are exposed to several personal and external, unfamiliar emotions. In addition to a wide range of qualifications, the professional handling of emotions by reflecting about them became evident. The thesis is based on the assumption that there is an interdependence between professionalism and emotions. |
