In den vergangen Jahren hat sich, wie die durchgeführten ExpertInneninterviews zeigen, eine gewisse Routine in der Art und Weise, wie Lehrinhalte vermittelt werden etabliert. Anhand von Frontalvorträgen werden praktische Anwendungsmethoden aufgezeigt und erklärt. Jedoch fehlt es vielen AbsolventInnen, danach an der nötigen Praxis und Umsetzungsgabe. Gerade im Bereich des Projektmanagements, profitiert der Markt vor allem von praktischer Erfahrung. Aus diesem Anlass untersucht die vorliegende Arbeit, die Möglichkeit, der Wissensaneignung von IT-Projektmanagement selbst, als agiles Projekt anzusehen und durch Moodle als Projektmanagementtool zu unterstützen. Die zugehörige Hauptforschungsfrage lautet, wie folgt:

„Kann die Wissensvermittlung zum Thema IT-Projektmanagement in Form eines agilen Projektes umgesetzt und sinnvoll durch die Lernplattform Moodle unterstützt werden?“

Um den Forschungsfokus nicht zu verlieren wurden unterstützend zur Hauptforschungsfrage folgende Unterforschungsfragen formuliert: „Eignet sich die Lernplattform Moodle für den Einsatz im Rahmen der agilen Lehrveranstaltung?“ und „Welche Inhalte oder Bereiche lassen sich durch die Lernplattform Moodle sehr gut abbilden und warum? Bei welchen Inhalten oder Bereichen gibt es in der Darstellung/Umsetzung Probleme und wodurch gibt es diese Schwierigkeiten?“.

Die Ergebnisse der Forschung bestätigten die Annahme der Autorin, dass die Wissensaneignung von IT-Projektmanagement in der Struktur eines agilen Projektes, mit der Unterstützung durch die Lernplattform Moodle optimal zum effizienten und effektiven Wissensaufbau geeignet ist. Hierzu wurden zunächst die unterschiedlichen Ansätze zu Projektmanagement, wie auch das agile Manifest und Moodle literarisch untersucht. Ebenso wurden 10 FachexpertInnen mit unterschiedlichem Bezug zu agilem Projektmanagement in qualitativen Interviews befragt. Abschließend wurde ein Moodlekurs speziell für den Anlass zur Unterstützung der Lehrveranstaltung entwickelt und aufgesetzt.

Auf Grund der zahlreichen Literaturauswahl zu Projektmanagement und dem agilen Manifest gestaltete sich die Literaturrecherche problemlos. Für die Lernplattform Moodle hingegen gibt es keine vielfältige Literaturauswahl, weshalb hauptsächlich mit den auf dessen Webseite verfügbaren Daten gearbeitet wurde. Während der gesamten Erarbeitung des Lehrkonzeptes, stand die Anwendungsbreite unterschiedlicher didaktischer Mittel im Fokus. Anhand dieses Aspekts erwies sich Moodle als besonders geeignete Unterstützung zur Dokumentation und zum Wissensaustausch, da dieses ein breites Repertoire an didaktischen Mitteln offeriert. In der offenen Gesprächsatmosphäre während der ExpertInneninterviews ging die Begeisterung für das Lehrkonzept deutlich hervor. Besondere Euphorie konnte durch den praktischen Ansatz agilen Projektmanagements, ebenso wie die regelmäßige Wiederholung des bereits Erlernten gewonnen werden. Gleichbedeutend positiv wurde im Vergleich zu Frontalvorträgen durch lebhafte Diskussionsrunden und die Unterrichtsmitgestaltung, der StudentInnen ein deutlich aktiveres Unterrichtsklima empfunden. Jedoch wurde der Aufwand außerhalb der Unterrichtseinheiten für Studierende, wie auch für den/die Vortragenden für zu aufwendig empfunden.

Im Hinblick auf weitere Forschungen zu dem Thema, könnte untersucht werden, wie das aufgedeckte Optimierungspotenzial in das erarbeitete Lehrkonzept integriert werden kann. Ferne lässt sich die Eignung dieses Konzeptes für andere Lehrveranstaltungsinhalte noch intensiver beleuchten.

Die Masterarbeit ist sowohl für Studierende im Bereich Projektmanagement, als auch für Vortragende im Lehrbereich interessant.

As the expert interviews have shown, over the past few years a certain amount of routine has been established in the way teaching. On the basis of lectures, practical application methods are shown and explained. However, many graduates are lacking, followed by the necessary practice and implementation skills. Especially in the field of project management, the market benefits from practical experience. In reference to that, the present work examines the possibility of knowledge acquisition of IT project management as an agile project and support it with Moodle as a project management tool. The associated main research question is as follows:

"Can knowledge transfer of IT project management be implemented as an agile project and be meaningfully supported by the learning platform Moodle?"

In order not to lose the research focus, the following sub questions were formulated to support the main question: "Is the Moodle learning platform suitable for use in the agile course?" and "Which contents can be mapped very well by the Moodle learning platform and why? What contents can’t be mapped and supported by Moodle?".

The results of the research confirmed that the knowledge acquisition of IT project management in the structure of an agile project, supported by a Moodle learning platform, are optimal for an efficient and effective knowledge acquisition. For this purpose, the different approaches to project management, as well as the agile manifesto and Moodle, were examined literarily. Additionally, 10 experts with different aspects of agile project management were interviewed in qualitative interviews. Finally, a Moodle course was developed and set up specifically to support the course.

Due to the numerous selection of literature on project management and the agile manifesto, the literature research was easy. For the learning platform Moodle on the other hand, there is no variety of literature selection, so the data available on its website was used as main source. During the entire development of the teaching concept, the scope of different didactic means was in focus. Based on this aspect, it became clear that Moodle offers a great support for documentation and knowledge sharing during the application. It also offers a wide array of didactic tools. The experts pointed out that there is a much more open atmosphere during the lessons. Especially the practical approach of agile project management, as well as the regular repetition of what has already been learned are perceived as positive. In comparison to frontal lectures also the lively discussions and the participation in class, enables a more active climate during the lessons. However, the effort outside of the lessons for students, as well as for the / the presenters felt too expensive.

With regard to further research on the topic, it could be investigated how the discovered optimization potential can be integrated into the developed teaching concept. Also, the suitability of this concept for other course contents can be examined even more intensively.

The master thesis is interesting for students in the field of project management as well as lecturers in the field of teaching.
