Diese Arbeit beschäftigt sich mit dem Thema der Bildungsberatung innerhalb der Wohnungslosenhilfe in Wien. Dabei gilt es zu erforschen inwiefern Bildungsberatung von den tätigen Sozialarbeiter_innen in ihren alltäglichen Beratungen mit gedacht bzw. konzeptionell vorgesehen ist.

Hierzu werden Expert_inneninterviews mit tätigen Sozialarbeiter_innen aus den unterschiedlichsten Einrichtungen der Wiener Wohnungslosenhilfe geführt und mit Hilfe qualitativer Inhaltsanalyse ausgewertet. Die Inhalte werden Kategorien zugeordnet und weitestgehend zusammengefasst. Vor allem die Teilhabe der Klientel am Bildungsraum Wien, das Bildungsverständnis der Sozialarbeiter_innen und die Konzeptionelle Fixierung des Themas stehen im Mittelpunkt.

Dem vorangestellt findet eine theoretische Abhandlung statt. In dieser werden wichtige Begrifflichkeiten aus dem Bereich der Obdach- und Wohnungslosenhilfe geklärt. Außerdem werden Beratung, Soziale Beratung und Bildung von ihrer theoretischen Seite beleuchtet.

Die Zusammenführung der theoretischen Hintergründe und der Ergebnisse der qualitativen Forschung werden anschließend diskutiert und genauer untersucht.

This thesis examines the topic of educational counselling within the Viennese Assistance to the Homeless. Hereby, the focus lies on the exploration to which extent this aspect is integrated in the daily counselling of the social workers and if it is conceptually intended.

For this purpose, expert interviews with social workers from the various facilities of the Viennese Assistance to the Homeless have been conducted and assessed with the help of qualitative content analysis. The results have been categorized and cumulated. Here, the focus has been laid on the integration of the client base in the educational area Vienna, the common understanding of the term "education" of the social workers and the conceptual fixation of the topic.

These interviews are grounded on a preceding analysis of the underlying theoretical concepts. Therefore, important terminology of the assistance to the homeless is being described in order to properly analyse the theoretical basis of counselling, social counselling and education.

Finally, the theoretical background and the results of the qualitative research are gathered and analysed in the discussion.
